	Neil Reynolds. Returned to Shawbridge after a brief spell at Bamber Bridge. Scored the winning goal at Nantwich that secured the 2003/04 NWCFL Divison 1 title and promotion to the UniBond League.
	Peter Smith. Signed from Kendal where he spent seven years including a successful 2 season spell as manager during which Kendal reached their first final in 25 years. He's a very well known player round the non-league circuit and finally hung up his boots at the end of the 2007-08 season.

	Martin Fearon Age : 19 (DOB 30/10/1988) Born : Blackburn Now lives : Accrington Occupation : Football in the Community coach 5' 11" goalkeeper signed from Accrington Stanley before the 2008-09 season. Was on Burnley's books before signing his first professional contract with Stanley and being on the bench for 20 Football League games. He had a brief spell at Shawbridge at the start of the 2006-07 season and conceded just 2 goals in 4 games on loan.
	James Mann Age : 22 (DOB 30/09/1985) Born : Bradford Now lives : Ilkley Occupation : Caravan service engineer 6' goalkeeper signed from Leigh RMI in January 2007, having also been on Rochdale's books. Bided his time but a suspension for Paul Horridge gave him his chance and turned in some superb performances in 2008 to scoop the Players' Player of the Year and Supporters' Player of the Year awards.

	Russell Clarke Age : 26 (DOB 03/06/1982) Born : Burnley Now lives : Burnley Occupation : Assistant headteacher 6' defender brought in from Rossendale United in 2007 where he spent the last season as skipper. Was a member of the Blues NWCFL winning side and can play anywhere across the back line.
	Ian Flannery Age : 22 (DOB 19/09/1985) Born : Warrington Now lives : Warrington Occupation : Key worker / child care 6' 5" young defender signed from Squires Gate in November 2007 and made a winning start with a Man of the Match performance in his home debut v FC United of Manchester. Further solid performances throughout 2008 saw him scoop the Young Player of the Year award. Has also played for Blackpool Mechanics.
	John Osborne. Defender brought in in December 2006 from a brief spell at Chorley after previously being at Kendal Town.
	Owen Roberts Age : 21 (DOB 11/10/1986) Born : Burnley Now lives : Burnley Occupation : Student / football coach 5' 10" versatile left-sided player who returned to Shawbridge before the 2008-09 season from Leigh Genesis. Has also played for Port Vale and Kendal Town as well as being a trialist at Grimsby Town and Accrington Stanley. While at Port Vale he played in the FA Youth Cup at the Hawthorns and Villa Park.
	Barry Shuttleworth. Accomplished left back who had a spell at Bury early in his career.
	Jonathon Smith Age : 32 (DOB 11/02/1976) Born : Darwen Now lives : Oswaldtwistle Occupation : PE teacher 6' 3" central defender originally signed on loan from Fleetwood Town in January 2008 and putting his experience and heading prowess to good use for the Blues. Has also played for Great Harwood and Darwen before featuring in some memorable FA Cup runs with Accrington Stanley including beating Huddersfield Town live on Match of the Day.

	Ryan Fisher Age : 28 (DOB 07/12/1979) Born : Blackburn Now lives : Bury Occupation : Financial Consulting 6' midfielder brought in from Radcliffe Borough in January 2007 and a scorer of some vital goals for the Blues. Has also played for Great Harwood and spoiled FC United's first promotion party in front of 6023 fans with a goal 5 minutes from time.
	Dave Hankin Age : 23 (DOB 25/03/1985) Born : Preston Now lives : Preston Occupation : Sports coach 6'3" young winger who signed in February 2008 from Squires Gate, having been on the books of Preston North End and Bamber Bridge. Has also played for the England u19's college side.
	Adam Kozlowski. Former Clitheroe Reserves player who returned to Shawbridge in 2007 after a successful spell at Rossendale United. Strong tackling midfielder who can also play at rightback.
	Liam McManus Age : 21 (DOB 14/01/1987) Born : Blackburn Now lives : Blackburn / Huddersfield Occupation : Student at Huddersfield 5' 10" midfielder who joined Clitheroe before the 2008-09 season from Ashton United. Has also played for Great Harwood and Ramsbottom United.
	Bernard Morley Age : 24 (DOB 24/04/1984) Born : Bury Now lives : Bury Occupation : Dryliner 6' midfielder who joined Clitheroe before the 2008-09 season from Salford City. Has also played for Radcliffe Borough and Rossendale United.
	Paul Osborne Age : 25 (DOB 08/06/1983) Born : Preston Now lives : Preston Occupation : Student teacher 5' 10" classy midfielder who joined in March 2007 from Kendal Town. Has also played for Morecambe and the England Futsal team in 2005.
	Joel Pilkington Age : 24 (DOB 01/08/1984) Born : Accrington Now lives : Accrington Occupation : Football coach 5' 9" defender / midfielder signed in January 2008 from Chorley. Was at Burnley early in his career where he captained the reserves and made a couple of first team appearances including one against Tottenham Hotspur in the League Cup. He joined Hyde United on his release before moving to Mossley where he captained them in their successful promotion to the UniBond Premier Division 2005/06.
	Scott Redhead. Left-sided midfielder signed in January 2008 from Lancaster City. Plays equally well at left back when required and proving a versatile player for the team.
	Craig Sargeson Age : 27 (DOB 05/07/1981) Born : Blackburn Now lives : Altham Occupation : Fuel system engineer 5' 10" forward who was tipped for great things when he was Rossendale’s top scorer in their NWCFL winning season while still in his teens. A successful move to Witton Albion was brought to a halt by a series of injuries and after a cautious start with the Blues he is now oozing the class that makes him a handful for opposition defences.
	Gary Stopforth Age : 21 (DOB 08/09/1986) Born : Burnley Now lives : Burnley Occupation : Student 5' 9" hardworking midfielder who came to Clitheroe just before the 2007/08 season following his release from Blackburn Rovers where he'd captained the reserve side. His battling performances throughout 2008 saw him scoop one of the Managers Player of the Year awards.

	Anthony Johnson Age : 25 (DOB 01/10/1982) Born : Bury Now lives : Bury Occupation : Architectural Aluminium 6' striker signed from Ramsbottom United in March 2008 where he was very popular and notched his fair share of goals as well as becoming their club captain. Has also played for Salford City and Mossley.
	Carl Lomax Age : 27 (DOB 19/01/1981) Born : Bury Now lives : Ramsbottom Occupation : Roofer 6' striker signed from Salford City in January 2008 and uses his strength and skill to lead the Blues attack. Has also played for Connahs Quay, Ramsbottom United, Radcliffe Borough and Congleton Town.
	Danny Toronczak Age : 31 (DOB 07/09/1976) Born : Dewsbury Now lives : Halifax Occupation : PE teacher 6' 3" prolific striker signed February 2008 from Mossley. He scored 143 goals in 235 games for Ossett Albion before moving to Belper Town for the start of this season and then linking with Mossley in November 2007. Has also played for Liversedge, Ashton United and Guiseley. He was the UniBond League's top scorer in 2004-05 with 41 goals.
	Chris Ward Age : 27 (DOB 28/04/1981) Born : Preston Now lives : Preston Occupation : School teacher 6' 1" forward who returned to Shawbridge before the 2008-09 season after a brief spell away from football. Originally joined Clitheroe in January 2007 from Mossley. He started his career at Lancaster City where he was a prolific scorer before moving to Birmingham City for a £25,000 fee. Has also played for Forest Green Rovers, Southport, Barrow, Leigh RMI, Lincoln City, Northwich Victoria, Bamber Bridge and Kendal Town.
