Vauxhall Motors currently sit in 18th place with 10 points from 10 games. They were regular opponents in the 1990s before they powered ahead and won promotion to the Conference North. After tumbling down the leagues, they recently enjoyed a superb five year run through the leagues under former manager Mick McGraa, which culminated in them winning the NWC Premier Division last season.
A solid start in the NPL Division 1 (West) was hampered by losing McGraa to Bootle and after appointing an interim management team for three weeks, they have appointed ex Tranmere player, Danny Holmes as their new manager this week.
In the league they have enjoyed home league wins against City of Liverpool and Hednesford, and an away win at Bootle. Their current poor form coincides with the change in manager and they will be looking for a new manager bounce on Saturday.

The Blues climbed to second in the table on the weekend, following a win at home against Newcastle Town, thanks to an ice cold Sefton Gonzales with a brace. The Blues have a chance to reach the summit of 1st position in the league should they win & Kidsgrove Athletic drop points away at Prescot Cables.
