At Friday’s Fans’ Forum, the Board launched the club’s Special Key Investment Fund draw.
This is the second strand of the mitigation strategy to bridge the four-month cash flow shortfall the club faces. The first element was a number of interest-free loans from Directors.
The draw follows the successful model used many years ago to boost managers’ playing budgets.
Tickets are priced at £10 per ticket.
The first (and only) prize will be 20% of the eventual tickets sold.
The winning ticket will be drawn after the home game against Witton Albion on Saturday, 15 March.
Tickets are available from any Director, online via the website, from the Club Shop on match days and from Banana News. In addition, Director Ross Hibbert will be available to sell tickets at Highmoor on weekdays.
The club is looking to sell over 1,000 tickets.
Acting chairman Andrew Jackson said:
"Our club is at its strongest when everyone who has the club at their heart works together. 1,000+ tickets is an ambitious target, but with regular gates of over 700, 450 season ticket holders, and five teams playing under the Clitheroe FC banner, we hope to achieve it."
Regular weekly updates on sales will appear on the club’s social media outlets.
